Dekalb and Asgrow are putting on a Winter Agronomy meeting tomorrow February 28th at the Old #1 in Morris, MN. The meeting will run from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon with lunch to follow. For any growers that have had white mold issues in the past few years this is a must meeting. We have Damon Smith, a great researcher from Wisconsin coming to discuss how to get high yielding soybean while managing white mold. He will talk about life cycle as well as fungicides that work, and their timing. We also have Bruce Potter coming to talk insects; where have we been, where we are now and where are we going. Dave Tierney, our rep from the Monsanto community affairs staff, will be great. He will talk “Regulatory Process…Bringing New Products to Market”. Technical Agronomist Harmon Wilts will finish with hybrid positioning through FTN plots and Climate Fieldview. Follow the link below for a schedule for the day.
